Drabble #25: Flight!

Drabble Girl held Doctor Stomper in her arms, her superior speed and
strength allowing them to keep up with the creature. However, they had
to detour around buildings, whereas the polynome could go straight
through them.

"It's heading for the crater," Doctor Stomper realised. "The KABLOOM
tube! If it can open it..."

Drabble Girl put on an extra spurt, but the polynome was already
descending inside the crater. She was about to follow when Doctor
Stomper stopped her. "If you're inside when the tube opens..."

However, it was already too late.

KABLOOM!
