<p>Kid Review sighed. He lifted one foot into the air, placed it in front
of the other, then did it again. And again. And again. And again.</p>
<p>He passed a sign labeled "Doldrums". Everything was gray. And tired.
And boring. And pointless.</p>
<p>Why was he even doing this? He wasn't getting any closer to his goal.
He wasn't even sure he knew what his goal was anymore.</p>
<p>He lifted one foot... it hung in the air. Slowly, he tilted forward,
until he was folded up on his knees in the soft ashen ground.</p>
<p>There wasn't really much to do, so he would take a nap. It couldn't
hurt. It wouldn't slow him down. How could anything, when he didn't
know where he was going?

<p>Formless sands, each grain a comma, whipped about Kid Review as he walked
the trackless wastes.</p>
<p>His first trip out had landed him in a desolate area of the Letters Page
Dimension. Guided by a handly arrow projected over his vision, he trekked
toward a castle he could not see. Feedback energies trickled from his
projected form, shaping the land; behind him, the sands had settled down
into salt flats, cacti of strange and beautiful form sprouting from them.
But the energy was ebbing; he needed another review.</p>
<p>"Sylvia, bring up new subject lines in RACC," his real body spoke. The
display sprung up, translucent in his otherworldly vision. He scrolled
through thoughtfully and landed on one. "...you know, I wonder what would
happen if..."</p>

<p>The shifting gray sands of dream. In the depths of slumber, Kid Review
heard a hundred voices speaking as one.</p>
<p>KID REVIEW OF LOONIVERSE-A.</p>
<p>He stood, looking up at the looming forms in the glittering dreamblack
sky. "RACCelestials! Why have you summoned me?"</p>
<p>A CRISIS LOOMS. A POWER LONG LOCKED AWAY IS STIRRING, CAUSING THE
FORCES OF COMMUNICATION TO SLIP OUT OF JOINT. YOU, OUR AGENT, MUST
INVESTIGATE THIS STIRRING AND RESEAL THE POWER'S PRISON.</p>
<p>"Just tell me what I have to do. I'm ready for anything! No task is
too great!"</p>

<p>All was dark, and the young man blinked awake. "Mmmmf. Hey, move
over... bwah?"</p>
<p>A light switched on above his head. A booming voice spoke. "Andrew
Perron of Looniverse-A, you have been chosen to aid the RACCelestials
in their ongoing judgment of rec.arts.comics.creative."</p>
<p>"Um, okay, but I kind of need to go to work tomorrow--" He was
suddenly engulfed in a beam of energy, and gasped, rising into the
air. His clothes fuzzed out, replaced with a loose-fitting orange
tunic and medieval breeches in silver.</p>
<p>"Once a generation, a human is imbued with the Review Force, allowing
then to read, understand and comment upon the stories posted in
rec.arts.comics.creative. You are that human. Speak your name!"
